翻譯社的的工作在英譯漢中，遇上特別長的賓語，初學者總是根據語法習慣亦步亦趨地處理主、謂、賓，結果造成龐大的賓語，頭輕腳重，特別不符合漢語的習慣，漢語之所以不喜歡賓語從句，在於漢語喜用主謂短句，對於較長的賓語，壹般有兩種處理方式：壹是把謂語變成直接能夠接賓語的表達形式，如react to不必翻譯成“對…作出反應”，可變成“面對…”，這種方法在口譯中常常出現，因?口譯往往無暇考慮句式的大變動；二是把賓語先譯出，然後再譯出主謂，如第壹個例子，或使用謂語的相反含義，再接上原主語，如第二個例子，sustain表示“決定了”，那反義短語就是“取決於”。

6) 句群邏輯關系原則

漢譯英中的疑點就是處理句群關系，從邏輯上區分通常有六種：

a) 表示原因關系

“因?…所以”，“因此…”，“由於…”

b) 表示轉折關系

“雖然…但是…”，“然而（不過）…”

c) 表示條件關系

“如果…”，“假如…”，“只要…就…”，“壹旦…”

d) 表示讓步關系

“盡管…”，“就算…也…”，“即使…也…”

e) 表示時間先後關系

“…之後”，“接著…”

f) 表示結果關系

“從而…”，“導致…”
